On the first evening we watched storm-clouds and lightning’s over the sea and enjoyed it a lot – we had missed the rain during our long summer and even were not displeased with the fact that we could not bathe in numerous basins of the hotel. To say the truth, we did bathe in a closed basin, but we were the only ones who dared it. The other tourists looked at us with surprise as the water was at least 15-16 degrees.
Iraklion is the capital of Crete. There was nothing extraordinary in it. A small town with a lot of souvenir shops and rather crowded built centre – everything meant to make money on tourists. It is very green.
