Free in London

Being in London and looking for free things you can do there. You think at once about wonderful London’s parks and gardens which are so beautiful right now, during the period of their blowing. It might be Queen Mary’s Rose Gardens in Regent’s Park that is one of the most favorite spots in London or St. James’s Park offering one of the best views of Buckingham Palace. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens (side by side) are enormous and includes the ever popular Diana Memorial Playground and the Peter Pan Statue.

Trafalgar Square is one of Britain’s greatest visitor attractions and was designed by John Nash in the 1820s and constructed in the 1830s. The West Piazza of Covent Garden Market has street performers to entertain you every afternoon.

Changing of the Guard is also the place you can’t miss it. The Queen’s Guard in London changes in the Forecourt inside the gates of Buckingham Palace at 11.30am every day in the summer and every other day in the winter. If you get there early you can view the spectacle from outside the front gates. South Bank is amazing place you can see along this stretch of the River Thames including The London Eye and Tate Modern. You can get download free walking tours of the South Bank area from Walk This Way as well.

Actually there are loads of free things to do in London, all what you need is to choose what’s best for you.

To celebrate the occasion, Buffett wrote a new team song called “Fins.” Reviews haven’t been kind but, then again, Jimmy has always been more about the fans than the critics.

Buffett and the Dolphins are a natural fit, as the singer has been a long-time fan of Miami sports (and, sometimes, a quite vocal one). Could this lead to other celebrity-team pairings?

Tom Cruise and Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder are already business partners; does this mean we’ll one day see L. Ron Hubbard Field? And Jon Bon Jovi is big into Philadelphia sports and once owned an Arena League team. With the Eagles yet to win a Super Bowl, Livin’ On a Prayer Stadium could be a nice fit.

Where Would You Go

It’s interesting if you had the chance to travel anywhere in the world where would you go right now? Perhaps you have dreamt to spend several days in Las Vegas, this madness never sleeping place or to walk through twisting Paris streets breathing in the fragrance of blooming trees and flowers. As the old song says, Paris is at its best in springtime, even if it is sometimes a little wet. Or maybe you would like to find your self in amazing Indian Mysore, also known as city of palaces taking part in Dussehra festival? Or you just would like to spend your holiday in Cuba to discover it yourself as a paradise in sunshine land, enjoying the most exciting salsa dancing holidays and salsa tours available or fishing like Ernest Hemingway did.

Ernest Hemingway who lived in Havana some more than 20 years was a big connoisseur and admirer of fabulous salsa performances just as he was a great fisherman. His house was just 45 minutes to the Gulf Stream and the best fishing he’d ever seen. Fishing was more than sport for him, it was like religion. “You were born to be a fisherman as the fish was born to be a fish”. he wrote. Actually Cuba is the brilliant idea not only for those who want a holiday with lots of fishing but also for their wives who want a holiday in a five star hotel.

Why do we love and want to travel? Perhaps to seek other states, other lives, other souls.
