Where to go on July

It’s great idea to visiting one of the best-known music festivals and one of the most prestigious in Europe – The Montreux Jazz Festival that will take part in in Switzerland during 02-17 July 2010. You can enjoy there not only with refind music of such famous musicians as Norah Jones, Paco de Lucia, Petula Clark, Quincy Jones and the Global Gumbo All Stars, Tori Amos, Vanessa Paradis and others greatests but also enjoy one of the most beautiful regions in Europe – Montreux Riviera.

By the way, if you live in Australia or going visit this country this summer you have to know that Australia becomes first country outside of Switzerland to open a Montreux Jazz Cafe bringing rare performances and a taste of the Swiss Riviera to Sydney! Sydney International Airport has opened the doors on the first permanent Montreux Jazz Café outside of Switzerland. This long-standing dream of Founder & CEO of the Montreux Jazz Festival Claude Nobs, will provide the public with the opportunity to dine in a unique setting that highlights the history of Europe’s most famous music Festival.

Free in London

Being in London and looking for free things you can do there. You think at once about wonderful London’s parks and gardens which are so beautiful right now, during the period of their blowing. It might be Queen Mary’s Rose Gardens in Regent’s Park that is one of the most favorite spots in London or St. James’s Park offering one of the best views of Buckingham Palace. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens (side by side) are enormous and includes the ever popular Diana Memorial Playground and the Peter Pan Statue.

Trafalgar Square is one of Britain’s greatest visitor attractions and was designed by John Nash in the 1820s and constructed in the 1830s. The West Piazza of Covent Garden Market has street performers to entertain you every afternoon.

Changing of the Guard is also the place you can’t miss it. The Queen’s Guard in London changes in the Forecourt inside the gates of Buckingham Palace at 11.30am every day in the summer and every other day in the winter. If you get there early you can view the spectacle from outside the front gates. South Bank is amazing place you can see along this stretch of the River Thames including The London Eye and Tate Modern. You can get download free walking tours of the South Bank area from Walk This Way as well.

Actually there are loads of free things to do in London, all what you need is to choose what’s best for you.
